Welcome to “Ask Tamara”

I’m Tamara Grapek, sole proprietor and owner. Having been a frequent shopper in health food stores most of my life and an avid student of healthy ways of living, I’ve created a store to cater to customers the way I wanted to be taken care of myself.

At “Ask Tamara” it is all about learning to be healthy, not just about selling vitamins! You’ll receive the personal attention and moral support you need to make the right choices that fit your goals and your budget. I constantly screen products for their quality and healthful benefits and avoid gimmicks that have little value to my customers.

I believe a healthy sustainable way of life includes quality items from local producers. I make a huge effort to offer these in my store. It’s good for customers and good for our local economy.

• Vitamin and herbal supplements such as: New Chapter, Nature’s Plus, Nature’s Way, Olympian Labs, Enzymatic Therapy, Twin Labs, NOW, Boiron Homeopathic, Liquid Health, Kroeger Herbs and more.
  
• Gluten free foods An entire gluten free room of cereals, snacks, condiments, mixes, fresh and frozen breads, muffins, cookies, cakes, and entres. People on limited diets will find offerings catering to their special needs as well. Most of the supplements throughout the store are also allergen free.
  
• Organic coffee and tea: Jim’s Organic Coffees, Traditional Medicinals, Yogi Tea, Alvita, Guayaki, Choice, Numi and others. I also carry Teecino coffee substitute.
  
• Health and beauty items: Comfort Cream Line healthful creams and medicinal rubs, Desert Essence, Dr. Bronner’s, Elizabeth Rose Soaps, Rachel Perry, Weleda, Seventh Generation, Herbatint hair color, Honeybee Gardens, Aubrey Organics, and more.
